​Types of Trips & Deadlines:

 

Day Trips Within the 5 Boroughs

Submit at least 2 weeks before the trip

• Complete the Off-Campus Trip Form

• Attach:

  • Flyer or itinerary

  • Within 5 Boroughs Spreadsheet (list of all eligible students)

 

High-Risk or Overnight Trips Within the 5 Boroughs

Submit at least 4 weeks before the trip

• Complete the Off-Campus Trip Form

• Attach:

  • Flyer or itinerary

  • Outside 5 Boroughs Spreadsheet

  • Trip Authorization Form

  • Signed waivers

 

Rules:

• Overnight trips with 5+ students require a chaperone

• All students must be SPARC certified

 

Trips Outside the 5 Boroughs

Day Trips: submit 3 weeks before
Overnight Trips: submit 4 weeks before

You must attach:

• Off-Campus Trip Form

• Flyer or itinerary

• Outside 5 Boroughs Spreadsheet

• Trip Authorization Form

• Signed waivers

• SPARC training documentation

​Required Forms (Depending on Trip)

• Off-Campus Travel Approval Form

• Off-Campus Activity Participation Waiver

• Student spreadsheet (inside or outside 5 boroughs)

• Trip Authorization Form (overnight/high-risk)

• SPARC certification (overnight trips)

All students who may attend (including waitlisted) must:

• Be listed on the spreadsheet

• Sign waivers

 

​Important Rules

• International travel is NOT allowed for student groups

• High-risk local trips require waivers + emergency contact info

• “Domestic travel” = leaving CUNY property but staying within the U.S.

• A “sponsored trip” is any off-campus activity funded, organized, or supported by Hunter or student fees

Sanctions & Compliance

• Clubs must follow all Hunter, USG, and CUNY policies

• Violations may result in:

  • Sanctions

  • Suspension

• No exceptions
