Advertising & Promotion Guidelines
Event Promotion Platforms:
Campus Screens

Events must be approved at least two weeks prior to display.
G-Blast (USG Newsletter)

Events must be approved before the submission deadline.

Aim to have your SEIF approved at least two weeks before the G-Blast date.

Submit flyers in PNG or JPEG format only (no PDFs).
OSA Instagram

Events must be approved at least 3 business days prior to posting.
HunterUSG Instagram

Send a direct message to the account requesting a repost of your club’s advertisement on their story.
Important Approval Policy

SEIFs with missing, incomplete, or non-compliant information will NOT be approved.

Hosting events without approval may result in club suspension.

Do not post flyers around campus until you have received SEIF approval.
Flyer Requirements
Flyers are required for event approval and must include:

Club name

Co-sponsor(s) (if applicable)

Day and date
-
Time
-
Location
-
Virtual platform registration information (if applicable)

Names of speakers, presenters, and/or performers (if applicable)

To Include an Event:

Submit your flyer through the Student Event Information Form (SEIF).

Submit early to allow time for approval and inclusion.
To Share General Club Information:

Email the External Affairs Commissioner at

Send materials at least one week prior to the G-Blast date.
