Who Can Borrow Equipment

• Hunter College clubs and organizations may borrow A/V equipment for free

• Borrowing requires permission from USG

• Equipment is subject to availability

• To rent any equipment, email av_res@hunter.cuny.edu 

 

 Equipment Available (Limited Quantities)

Clubs may request:

• 1 Data Projector

• 1 PC Computer Laptop Cart

• 1 Speaker

• 2 Wired Hand-Held Microphones

• 1 Wireless Mic Setup (includes 2 mics)

• 1 TV Monitor

• 2 Audio Cables

• 1 PA Unit

 

Not Provided:

• Laptops

• Mac adapters

• Camcorders

 

Reservation & Return Rules

• Only ONE A/V reservation per club at a time/date

• Equipment must be returned during A/V business hours

• If A/V is closed at return time:

  • Return equipment by noon the next business day

• Overnight borrowing requires special approval from Teneia Wooten, The Assistant Director of Student Life at twooten@hunter.cuny.edu

• Equipment must be stored in a double-locked room

  • Room location must be provided when reserving

Late returns may result in a temporary suspension of borrowing privileges

 

Who Can Pick Up Equipment

• Only the club President or Treasurer may request and pick up equipment

• Borrower must:

  • Be listed as eligible by Student Activities

  • Present a valid Hunter ID at pickup
