Mozima Qayyum

Vice President

Mozima Qayyum is a Hunter College senior majoring in Psychology with a Certificate in Human Rights. She is a Thomas Hunter Honors Scholar, Jewish Foundation for Education of Women Scholar, and undergraduate thesis student at Hunter AIDS Research Team. As USG Vice President, Mozima is dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment at Hunter where students feel comfortable expressing their voices. She is committed to representing the interests and concerns of the student body while fostering positive change. She wants to work towards making campus life better through the advocacy for necessary resources and opportunities for students. Mozima aims to promote diversity and transparency amongst Hunter Student Clubs and Organizations. She hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of human rights, law, psychology, and advocacy. Outside of school, she loves to bake and crochet. She loves talking to students, so please feel free to reach out to her!
