Alishba Shahbaz

Alishba Shahbaz is a senior majoring in Human Biology on the pre-PA track. She has served as a Macaulay Honors peer mentor for the past two years, helping incoming freshmen adjust to college life with guidance, encouragement, and support. Dedicated to fostering student engagement, Alishba has also collaborated with USG to organize events at Hunter’s Brookdale Gameroom, creating spaces for connection and community building. Outside of academics, Alishba is passionate about healthcare. She currently works as a Surgical Technician at Westside GI Center and as a Medical Assistant at The Dermatology Specialists, where she prioritizes empathy and patient-centered care. As Senior Senator, Alishba is committed to strengthening the student community by ensuring that every student’s voice is valued and their needs are represented. She hopes to continue building an inclusive, supportive environment for all Hunter students.
