About Us

Who are we?
Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is a campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. This means that we emphasize God’s Sovereignty (His care and control of creation), God’s Word (the Holy Bible), and God’s wholly-sufficient Work (Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, and reign).

Reformed people are sometimes called “Calvinists,” too. We do like John Calvin! This is still misleading, however, since Calvin wasn’t the first or last to have Reformed ideas.

Why do we exist?
RUF exists to gather students together, experience Jesus, and pursue the flourishing of Hunter College and New York City.

What do we do?
We meet every week for Small Group and once a month for Large Group. Every RUF chapter, including RUF Gotham/Hunter College, has a dedicated campus minister who can meet with you to give advice or just chat.
