Iota Alpha Pi

Iota Alpha Pi was founded in 1903 as the first Jewish sorority ever with the purpose of religious education and settlement house work. In 2023, students at Hunter College have rechartered the organization with a new purpose that focuses on women empowerment, education, and providing sisters of all backgrounds with a welcoming community. Iota Alpha Pi provides an opportunity for social and cultural growth amongst its members and to bring together a group of diverse individuals into a positive and supportive atmosphere.
