Be The Match

The purpose of Be The Match at Hunter College is to spread awareness of the severity of Blood Cancers and Disorders in our world today. As a club of Hunter College we have two goals. The first is to educate students about the shortage of blood matches for minority patients. All students at Hunter College should be educated on the importance of increasing donor availability. Our second goal is to recruit more ethnically diverse members for the registry. This will increase minority patients’ chances of finding a match. We also will be advising potential donors about the registry and donation process through the Be The Match official organization.
