Asian Student Union

The Asian Student Union (ASU) is a social-cultural umbrella club that focuses providing an inclusive community for promoting Asian cultures. We do this by:
1) Exploring the Asian American identity, celebrating the achievements of Asians in America, and addressing harmful stereotypes
2) Being a source of discussion and greater social consciousness on critical issues that impact Asian communities
3) Promoting collaborations with other Asian clubs, the Asian American Studies Program, and the Hunter College AANAPISI Program within Hunter College as an umbrella organization
4) Multiple general body meeting are held each semester that include fun activities to get to know other members, educational materials, and exposure to each region of Asia
