Juan Galvis

Juan Galvis is a sophomore at Hunter College majoring in Computer Science with an intended focus on bioinformatics. As Sophomore Senator, he hopes to enhance student engagement and increase the accessibility of relevant resources. Juan recently served as an Orientation Leader for the admissions team, fostering inclusivity and support for incoming students. With a growing interest in pursuing a music minor at Hunter College, Juan strives to be more hands-on within the admissions team. He aspires to become a Sophomore Orientation Leader (SOL) and a Student Admissions Leader (SAL) during the upcoming fall semester. Juan's vision includes bridging gaps between students and the USG, advocating for student needs, and promoting open communication channels. Committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere, he dedicates himself to ensuring all students feel valued and heard, aiming to build strong relationships with both the Hunter College community and his peers.
